IPyKernel throws cannot import name write_connection_file

Start with ipykernel/init.py and ipykernel/connect.py, then inspect the jupyter_client/init.py import path shown in the traceback. Reproduce python -m ipykernel install --user --name=myenv with the listed Python, ipykernel, and jupyter-client versions. Done means the command completes without the import error and coverage protects the compatible import behavior.
