Research direction

Start with the linked Ion-Toast Controller Toasts tutorial and reproduce it in a blank Ionic Angular standalone project on an iOS 17.2-or-later emulator or device, comparing it with ionic serve in a browser. Done means determining why the toast and alert do not appear on iOS devices and documenting or resolving the device behavior.
