Description
Summary
Add security audit reports (generated by Claude) to kernels-community kernel repos on the Hub, similar to how security scanning reports are shown for other repos.
Details
- Show a button to view the security analysis report of the kernel source code on kernel repo pages (starting with kernels-community)
- The report would be generated by Claude analyzing the kernel source code
- Initially scoped to
kernels-communityonly (to prevent abuse — e.g. packing prompts into source code to use Claude for free). Could later expand to trusted orgs.
Alternative / additional approach
Make this configurable in the upload subcommand of kernel-builder:
- Before uploading, if the user opts in, run the analysis with Claude
- Serialize findings in a
SECURITY.md - Link that from the system card
