Research direction

The main page background is controlled by CSS. Start by locating the stylesheet for the landing page, likely in the assets/css directory. Check for modern CSS features like flexbox, grid, or gradients that lack support in IE 11 and Safari 5.1, and add vendor prefixes or fallback values. Test the changes using BrowserStack or equivalent to confirm the background renders correctly in both browsers.
