Research direction
Open support question, not a scoped change: the report says roughly 10 frames decode from a fragmented MP4 before WebCodecs VideoDecoder errors, but names no file, snippet or code path. First reproduce with the MP4Box.js sample-extraction API on a fragmented MP4 and compare the emitted samples and timestamps against a non-fragmented file, tracing how fragment sample tables are surfaced. Done means either a documented extraction approach or a minimal failing case posted to the thread; the two existing comments settled nothing.

Description
Hi,
I am using MP4Box.js extraction and the WebCodecs api to decode and display individual MP4 frames. All works well with non-fragmented MP4 files.
However when I pass the uri of a fragmented MP4 file, extract samples, create encodedVideoChunks from the samples and decode them, after about 10 frames I get a decoder error from the WebCodecs VideoDecoder.
Any idea why this happens? Is there a different approach needed to extract samples from a fragmented MP4 file?
