Additional notes for reviewers
  • Agent Plugins 1.0 manifest with 11 skills: one shared windbg-diagnostic-method skill plus ten bug-family skills (windbg-user-*, windbg-kernel-*). It also includes two Copilot agents under com.github.copilot/agents/: diagnostician, and contrarian, an independent reviewer with no tools.
  • It doesn't bundle an MCP server or uploader. Debugger access comes from the user's existing WinDbg integration. State-changing steps (Verifier/Page Heap, trace capture) require explicit user authorization, and public feedback goes to microsoft/WinDbg-Feedback only after the user approves.
  • Also listed in the microsoft/win-dev-skills catalog: copilot plugin marketplace add microsoft/win-dev-skills then copilot plugin install windbg@win-dev-skills installs 11 skills. It also installs on Claude Code and Codex.
  • Before submitting, I ran this repo's validateExternalPlugin (both the marketplace and publicSubmission policies) and runExternalPluginQualityGates against this SHA. Spec compliance, vally lint (11/11), and version match passed.
  • Routing benchmark with Claude Sonnet 5 and GPT-5.5, run with and without winui, winappcli, and superpowers installed: the correct skill was selected on 34/34 runs of the 17 debugging prompts, and there were no false positives on the 8 non-debugging Windows/.NET prompts.
