Research direction

Start at the llama-server entry point handling --completion-bash, --version, and --help, using commit 1af554f8fc78ba029665a47b839484d9763e2a75 as the regression boundary. Reproduce the commands from the issue and verify that these options no longer print the initialization message while normal server startup remains unchanged.

Which llama.cpp modules do you know to be affected?

llama-server

Command line
source <(llama-server --completion-bash)
Problem description & steps to reproduce

There is a llama_server: initializing ... message before the prompt every time I open a terminal.

0.00.000.333 I srv llama_server: initializing ...
jtnicholl@desktop:~$

Removing or commenting out the source <(llama-server --completion-bash) line from .bashrc makes it go away.

The --version and --help options also print this message, they did not before.
