Research direction

The change is in .github/workflows/mobile-curriculum-e2e.yml, in the matrix that sets node-version and pnpm-version. Wait until freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp#70714 merges, since the new values depend on it, then set node-version to 26 and pnpm-version to 12. Done means the workflow file has those values and the curriculum job runs green on Node 26.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

.github/workflows/mobile-curriculum-e2e.yml checks out freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp and builds the curriculum with this matrix:

node-version: [24]
pnpm-version: [10]

freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp#70714 moves that repository to Node 26 (.nvmrc, engines.node: ">=26"). After it merges, this job builds the curriculum on a Node version that the repository does not use.

The job does not fail now. pnpm 10 reads packageManager and switches to pnpm 12.9.1, and engines.node is not strict in that repository.

Proposal, when freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp#70714 merges:

  • Set node-version to 26.
  • Set pnpm-version to 12, the version in packageManager.
