Piste de recherche

Start by reproducing the report: run desktop_menu File → New in TextEdit and list the windows of that process before and after dispatch to see how the new windows appear. The request is for menu, launch and open receipts to list the target process's windows created between dispatch and verification, each with its window ID and identity, plus an exclusive or ambiguous attribution. Done means those receipts carry that data and the ambiguous case is flagged when a second window appears. The issue does not name the source files, so locate the receipt and window-listing code first.

Description

Found in the Ace desktop tools study (githubnext/ace#427), D4 on Canary 0.0.46+8fbfcc3.

Observed: two Ace channels each ran desktop_menu File → New in TextEdit about 3 s apart. Two empty windows appeared, "Untitled" (11310) and "Untitled 2" (11314). One agent asked the owner: "nothing I can observe tells me which one I created." It was right to stop. Neither agent touched the other's window. Running the same kind of task in two channels is impossible today, though, unless they can attribute new windows.

Ask: action receipts for menu, launch and open (and window-creating keys, once #13 lands) should report the windows of the target process that appeared between dispatch and verification. Give each its exact window ID and identity, and mark the attribution exclusive when no other window of that process appeared in the interval, or ambiguous when one did. The model can then target its own window, or know it must ask.

Related: #4 (window, menu and dialog workflows).
