Start with RunnerRequestPanelTests.swift:84 and inspect the panel fixture and waits used by RunnerTests.testLitPanelBookingAndCoordinateFallbackShareScreenPointsForPartialWindows and RunnerTests.testPlacedIPadWindowDispatchUsesTheMeasuredSoleDisplay. Reproduce the missing Button on the iOS 26.2 CI runtime and compare it with iOS 27.1 locally to identify whether layout, timing, or runtime behavior differs. Done means both tests pass in the XCTest Nightly iPhone full suite and on a current runtime, without skipping either.

Purpose

XCTest Nightly fails on two panel-fixture tests, separately from #4212. They failed on 2026-11-05 and again on 2026-11-06 (run 42163259459).

Current behavior

Both tests fail at the same fixture step:

  • RunnerTests.testLitPanelBookingAndCoordinateFallbackShareScreenPointsForPartialWindows
  • RunnerTests.testPlacedIPadWindowDispatchUsesTheMeasuredSoleDisplay

They fail at RunnerRequestPanelTests.swift:84 with No matches found for Descendants matching type Button: the panel fixture's button isn't found.

Both pass locally on an iPhone Air simulator with iOS 27.1. CI's nightly runs iOS 26.2. That points to a fixture or layout difference on iOS 26.2 rather than to the lit-panel logic, but this is unconfirmed.

Required behavior

  • Find out why the panel fixture's button is missing on the CI runtime: the fixture's layout, a timing wait, or a runtime difference.
  • Fix the fixture or the wait so both tests pass on iOS 26.2 and on current runtimes. Don't skip either test.

Completion conditions

  • Both tests pass in the XCTest Nightly iPhone full suite.
  • Both still pass on a current runtime locally.

Dependencies

None. #4212 fixes the other nightly failure; once both land, XCTest Nightly should be green.
