Piste de recherche

The issue describes a proposal for dynamically scaling worker and root-channel capacity, with child channel capacities expressed as a percentage of the parent (minimum 1), but names no files, tests, or entry points. First read the queue's channel-capacity implementation and related tests to understand how capacities are currently configured. Done means the proposal is specified and implemented with coverage for percentage-based capacities and the minimum.

Description

enhancement

We are considering an autoscaling scenario where the number of available workers, and therefore the capacity of the root channel, would evolve dynamically based on some workload metrics.

In such a case we will likely want to have the channel capacities to be expressed as a percentage of the parent channel capacity (with a minimum of 1).
