Línea de trabajo
Start by reading the dependency manifest handling, --dep=<name>=<path> parsing, dependency graph, tree output, and vex.lock/metadata code; the issue does not name specific files or tests. First map how dependency keys, package identity, and Wave import namespaces currently relate. Done means the alias and identity model is documented and implemented with deterministic conflict and cycle detection, distinct tree output, and tests for the four listed cases, without registry semantics.

Descripción
Motivation
Vex currently requires the dependency key, source package name, and Wave import namespace to be identical. The graph also allows only one source/version requirement per package name. This prevents intentional renaming and coexistence of incompatible versions.
Design questions
- Is the manifest dependency key the import namespace or package identity?
- How does Vex pass aliases through
--dep=<name>=<path>? - Can two aliases point to different versions of the same package?
- How are package self-name validation and diagnostics preserved?
- What identity is recorded in
vex.lockand metadata?
Acceptance criteria
- Publish an alias and package-identity model compatible with Wave imports.
- Preserve deterministic conflict and cycle detection.
- Make tree output distinguish alias, package name, version, and source.
- Add tests for one rename, two versions, transitive aliases, and collisions.
- Do not introduce registry semantics.
