Start from the vp create react-router flow that runs pnpm dlx create-react-router and handles its exit status. Check how scaffold failures are treated when the generated project already exists. Done means a failed Git initialization does not stop Vite+ integration and the generated project receives its Vite+ dependencies and configuration; linked pull request #3363 is already open.

Describe the bug

When creating a project with vp create react-router, Vite+ runs pnpm dlx create-react-router@latest.

If the user selects Yes when prompted to initialize Git, create-react-router reports:

Oh no! Failed to initialize git.

This stops the Vite+ integration step, so the generated project does not receive the Vite+ dependencies and configuration.

Running vp migrate afterward integrates the project successfully. However, Vite+ should prevent create-react-router’s Git initialization failure from aborting project creation and the subsequent Vite+ integration.

  1. Run vp create react-router in an empty directory.
  2. Select Yes when prompted to initialize a Git repository.
  3. Complete the create-react-router prompts.

Expected:
Vite+ completes its integration after React Router scaffolding.

Actual:
create-react-router prints Oh no! Failed to initialize git.
Vite+ integration stops, and the generated project does not include Vite+ dependencies or configuration.
vp version: Not found

Workaround:
Run vp migrate in the generated project.
