Create data/zscript/ with the stated lexical coverage, run python tools/verify_language.py zscript --report --engine <gitgalaxy main>, and explain each deviation. Then run the language addition audit and record the corpus and engine costs; done means the verifier is green, the audit has no rosetta warning, and the cost log has a zscript row.

lane:nyx needs:corpus priority: medium testing

ZScript landed in gitgalaxy (#5535, DOOM milestone) without a keyword-rosetta control folder. gitgalaxy/standards/how_to_add_a_language.md treats the folder as part of a language addition, and tests/tools/language_addition_audit.py --lang zscript currently skips the corpus checks. Until the folder exists, zscript's planted-count accuracy isn't measured and the README bias-variance chart leaves it out.

Work

  1. In squid-protocol/keyword-rosetta, author data/zscript/: the 12-probe control shell per SPEC.md, with decoys and a deviation ledger per docs/GATING.md.
  2. Run python tools/verify_language.py zscript --report --engine <gitgalaxy main> and explain every deviation by name (fix the engine or record it in the ledger; never edit the plants to match the engine).
  3. On the gitgalaxy side, run KEYWORD_ROSETTA_PATH=<checkout> python tests/tools/language_addition_audit.py --lang zscript with no rosetta warning left.
  4. Backfill the cost log: python tests/tools/record_language_cost.py --lang zscript --phase corpus ... for this session (the engine half has no row either; record it with --manual from the PR's dates if no transcript is at hand).

Language notes

Lexical family standard_block: plant decoys under both // and /* */; class/struct/extend class bodies and actor states.

Acceptance

  • keyword-rosetta PR merged with data/zscript/; that repo's CI verifier is green.
  • The audit shows no keyword-rosetta warning for zscript.
  • language_addition_costs.jsonl has a row for zscript.
