Línea de trabajo

Read ADR-SYS-LSP-002/003 and related issue #405 to understand the transport options, then inspect syscribe_model::mutate and the existing MCP write tools' dry-run/delta/commit contract. Determine how the same contract can be reached from the front end without violating ADR-SYS-LSP-001. Done means UI actions can preview file deltas and findings, and a rejected commit leaves the model untouched.

Descripción

Context

The VS Code front end for syscribe is being built around product line engineering (PLE). It uses syscribe lsp and the CLI today. The extension is deliberately a thin LSP client (ADR-SYS-LSP-001: standard LSP methods only), so anything that is not VS Code UI belongs in the server or the CLI where every editor benefits.

Every mutating UI action (scaffold, bind, rename, create) should be able to return the file delta and the findings it would introduce or resolve before committing, as the MCP write tools already do (dry-run / delta / commit), so the front end can show a diff and offer undo.

Acceptance

  • The same contract is reachable from the front end's chosen transport.
  • A rejected commit leaves the model untouched.
