Línea de trabajo

No source files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the Next/Previous Display and window-throw handling in the Rectangle Pro codebase, then trace how displays are enumerated and configured. Done means an option can identify a display to exclude and those actions skip it, including the reported BetterDisplay/Sidecar setup.

Descripción

Could there be an option to exclude a specific display from Next/Previous Display (and window throw), so windows never get sent there?

This was asked for regular Rectangle here: https://github.com/rxhanson/Rectangle/discussions/1318

I know Custom Size & Position can target a named display, but that's too manual for my workflow, and it means remembering extra shortcuts. I'd much rather keep using my existing Next/Previous Display shortcuts and have them skip the excluded display.

More specifics: I use BetterDisplay to stream a portrait virtual screen to my iPad via Sidecar (since apple annoyingly doesn't allow this natively...), since Sidecar can't be rotated. This leaves the actual Sidecar display as an invisible extra screen under the stream, and Next/Previous Display keeps sending windows to it, which Is annoying and cumbersome.

Setup: MacBook Air M4, iPad mini 7, BetterDisplay Pro, macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, Rectangle Pro v3.92 (237)
