Look for where custom snap targets are loaded and activated on app startup, likely in a settings or configuration manager. The bug suggests targets are not being properly initialized from saved state. Check the code that reads the 'Use as a snap target' flag and applies it to the dragging UI. Reproduce by creating a target, restarting the app, and debugging why it doesn't appear until toggled.

Descripción

Hi! I'm not very technical. I bought Rectangle Pro and was setting it up with the help of Claude (an AI assistant), which found this problem while helping me.

Setup: Rectangle Pro 3.91, macOS 26.6.2, two displays (Samsung G95NC as the main display, Dell U4025QW above it).

Problem: Custom Size & Position entries with "Use as a snap target" turned on never show while dragging after Rectangle Pro starts (or after a Mac restart). If I open each entry, switch "Use as a snap target" off and back on, and click Done, the targets work, until the next restart.

Also: my settings had an entry with no name, width or height ({"loc":0,"id":…}). With it in the list, snap targets never showed at all. Resetting the settings fixed that part.

Workaround: a login script that re-toggles each target after launch.

Thanks for the app!
