Línea de trabajo

The payload names no files, tests or entry points, so there is no obvious starting file. Start by finding the Kotlin Android code that handles spreadsheet cell editing and the save action, then reproduce both reported problems: blank cells cannot be edited, and Save asks for a new file instead of overwriting. The issue has no decided scope, so confirm with the maintainers what the expected behaviour is before writing any code.

Descripción

This is BY FAR the best .odt file editor, and it's open source. I've tried them all, and nothing comes close. Collabora for example is horrendous on Android.

Thank you for your work! People like you are truly the unsung heroes of the FOSS community, and trust me, we appreciate you deeply.

I just have two questions:

  1. Will we ever be able to edit blank cells? Currently, when I open a spreadsheet, I can only edit those cells that already have text/numbers/symbols in them. But I cannot edit (or add data) to blank cells.

  2. When I edit a spreadsheet and click save, it's asking me to save it as a new file. It doesn't automatically overwrite the existing file, which is what it should be doing with a "Save" function. I could find the existing file, click on it and then it asks me whether I want to overwrite it. But the problem is that the existing files are deep inside my knowledge base so I would have to open, and I'm not joking, over 15 folders just to find it.
