Línea de trabajo

Start from README.md, the English source, and compare it with README.fr.md and README.es.md to see how the translated files are laid out. Create README.sw.md with the prose translated and commands, code blocks, links and badges left unchanged. Add a Kiswahili link to the language bar at the top of each README*.md, using an <a> element with href README.sw.md. Done means the new file exists, every README has the link, and the markup still renders.

Descripción

area: docs good first issue translation

gknowledge works offline and without a paid API key, which makes it useful where data is expensive or connectivity is patchy. A README in Swahili (Kiswahili) would help readers in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and across East Africa discover it.

Task

  1. Copy README.fr.md or README.es.md (the short translated READMEs) to README.sw.md, using the English README as the source text.
  2. Translate the prose. Keep commands, code blocks, links and badges unchanged.
  3. Add <a href="README.sw.md">Kiswahili</a> to the language bar at the top of every README*.md.

Please write it yourself as a native or fluent speaker: machine-translated PRs will be asked for revisions. Comment here to claim the issue.
