The payload names no files or tests, so start by finding where the editor mode (plain text or rich text) is currently stored and read in the Android app. Check whether that setting is global and how a note's data is loaded and saved. Done means a note reopens in the mode it was last edited in, while other notes keep their own modes. Storage and migration choices are open, so confirm the approach with maintainers before coding.

Descripción

enhancement
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Different types of notes are better suited to different editing modes. For example, some notes are easier to edit in plain text, while others, such as to-do lists, are more convenient to work with in the rich-text editor.

Currently, switching between plain-text and rich-text mode affects all notes globally rather than just the currently opened note.

This creates a frustrating workflow: Whenever I open a note that requires a different editor, I have to manually switch modes. However, doing so also changes the editor mode for every other note.

As a result, I frequently find myself opening notes in the wrong editor and repeatedly switching between modes throughout the day.

Describe the solution you'd like

Please remember the selected editor mode individually for each note instead of applying it globally.

For example:

  • Note A uses the plain-text editor.
  • Note B uses the rich-text editor.
  • Note C uses the plain-text editor.

Whenever I reopen one of these notes, it should automatically use its previously selected editor mode.

Expected Benefit

This small improvement would make working with different types of notes significantly more convenient, eliminate unnecessary editor switching, and provide a much smoother everyday workflow.
