Línea de trabajo

The report points at the Viewer overlay that opens from a Deck card attachment and at the list of attachments it builds for the board, including archived cards. Start by reproducing with a board that has many image attachments and watching memory in the browser profiler while closing the Viewer. Done means closing the Viewer no longer causes the memory spike, and the attachment list is limited to what the slideshow needs.

Describe the bug
When viewing an image attachment in a Deck board that contains a massive number of total attachments (accumulated over 2+ years), closing the Viewer app (clicking the "X") causes a severe Javascript memory leak. The browser tab's RAM usage violently spikes—sometimes upwards of 3GB—and completely locks up/freezes the tab
This appears to be a garbage collection/DOM teardown issue caused by the Viewer app loading a massive background array of every single attachment associated with the Board ID, including attachments on Archived cards.

To Reproduce
teps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Operate a Deck board with thousands of image attachments (JPG/PNG).

2. Archive the vast majority of the cards containing these attachments over time.

3. Left-click an image attachment on an active card to open the Nextcloud Viewer overlay.

4. Click the "X" in the top right to close the Viewer.

Observe the system task manager: The browser tab's RAM usage spikes to 3GB+ and the tab completely freezes for an extended period while the JS engine attempts garbage collection.

Expected behavior
The Viewer should close instantly with minimal memory overhead, regardless of how many attachments are on the board. Ideally, the Viewer should paginate the slideshow array or exclude attachments from Archived cards entirely to prevent the payload from growing infinitely and causing a 3GB memory spike over the lifespan of a board.
