Línea de trabajo
Start by reading the autochangelog specs and tracing how rendering a dirty tree creates the “Local changes (uncommitted)” entry. Compare with related issue #188, which concerns the same entry through a symlinked path. Done means rendering before commit can produce the intended changelog entry without the commit-render-amend-render workaround; the issue suggests commit message or author options, or treating staged changes as the next commit.
Escrito por el modelo de indexación a partir del texto del issue.
Descripción
On autochangelog specs, rendering a dirty tree adds an entry authored by azldev <azldev@local>. To get a clean result we have to commit, render, amend, and render again, and any later commit to the component shifts Release and the changelog again.
(Related to #188, which hits the same entry through a symlinked path; this one is about intentionally rendering before committing.)
Ask: a way to render "as if committed", e.g. --commit-message / --author, or treat staged changes as the next commit.
