Start with the explainkit tts --engine kokoro path in src/tts.mjs, which handles sentence splitting, silence insertion and wav concatenation. Install the optional kokoro-js package, run the tts command on examples/boat, then run explainkit build on the same folder to see where it fails. Done when the narration works with the aligner, you have written the steps and your OS in the issue, and the 'not verified' note in the README is removed.

explainkit tts --engine kokoro was written against the documented API of the optional kokoro-js package but has not been run end to end by the maintainers (it needs a model download). Please run it and report.
What: on your machine, npm install kokoro-js && npx explainkit tts examples/boat --engine kokoro, then explainkit build examples/boat. Fix whatever breaks in src/tts.mjs (sentence splitting, silence insertion, wav concat).
Done when: the command produces a narration the aligner can use, the steps and the OS you tried are written in the issue, and the README note saying 'not verified' is removed.
