Add the one-way mirror setting and folder write flow, tracking only files Prompuff created and writing each through a temporary file before rename. Done means importing the mirror restores prompts and workflows, unowned files remain untouched with a test covering that, and docs/user-guide.md explains the mirror.

Keep the library as plain files too, so Git, Syncthing or any editor can see it: a folder that Prompuff keeps in step with the library.

What to do

  • Add a mirror folder, chosen in Settings › Storage and off until one is picked. Like Export, Prompuff writes only where the user chose.
  • The folder holds one Markdown file per prompt in the 1.0 format, with workflows in workflows/. It's flat: collections stay in the frontmatter, as in any export.
  • The mirror is one-way. Prompuff writes it, and Import stays the way files come in. A two-way mirror is #56.
  • Prompuff only ever changes or removes files it wrote. Keep track of which those are, either in the library (a new migration, never an edited one) or in a file inside the mirror, and record the choice in ROADMAP.md.
  • Write each file to a temporary name and then rename it, so Git or Syncthing never pick up half a file.
  • Remembered values never go into the mirror, since they're never exported.

Done when

  • Picking a folder fills it with the library, and importing that folder into a fresh library brings back the same prompts and workflows.
