Overview

We need to add "Closed" as an available Project Status option in the Project Profile Card Review & Update issue template so that project teams can request status changes to "Closed" through the standard issue form.

Currently, the form only allows "Active", "Completed", and "On Hold". This prevents project teams from requesting the new "Closed" status directly.

Action Items

  • Open .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/project-profile-card-review-and-update.yml.
  • Locate the Project Status dropdown with id: status.
  • Add "Closed" to the existing list of dropdown options without removing or changing the existing options.

The updated options should be:

options:
  - "Active"
  - "Completed"
  - "On Hold"
  - "Closed"
  • Verify that all four status options are present and spelled correctly.
  • Follow the issue-template testing procedure referenced in #4786 to test the updated form.
  • Confirm that "Closed" appears as a selectable option and that the existing options remain available.
  • Include the testing URL and verification details in the Pull Request.
