Additional notes for reviewers

agentic-dev-kit is a delivery workflow for teams on Azure DevOps. It complements
Microsoft's Azure DevOps Copilot Plugin, a preview canvas in the GitHub Copilot
app for browsing and updating work items and pull requests, rather than
duplicating it: this plugin works inside the editor and takes one work item
through a guided, test-first path to a reviewed pull request.
What it adds:

  • ado-implement: assess the work item, settle an acceptance checklist, branch,
implement red-green with unit, accessibility (axe), and UI (Playwright) tests,
commit linked to the item, review, and open the PR, with a user gate at
    every step.
  • Three read-only reviewer agents (PR, Security, Privacy) that run in parallel
against tailorable controls (OWASP-based security, privacy, testing,
practices, lint). Repos and organizations override controls by file, read
from the base branch so a change can't loosen its own checks.
  • A PreToolUse guardrails hook that denies force pushes, hard resets, pushes to
protected branches, and policy bypasses, and asks before writes to GitHub or
Azure DevOps. Repo rules can only tighten the built-in ones.
  • pr-review, lint, and branch-policies skills for the rest of the loop.
The plugin contains no credentials; users sign in with their own Entra ID or
gh/az accounts. Hooks are bash on macOS/Linux and PowerShell on Windows.
