Follow-up to https://github.com/githedgehog/dataplane/pull/1503 - that PR blocks ports <= 1023 from being allocated for masquerading. We've been discussing adding an option to make this blocking configurable (on/off), although we haven't reached a consensus on it, yet.
More generally, we would like an option to let users select the port range to use with masquerading. This requires some API changes, and some changes in the allocator for masquerading.
