The bug involves the Forge extension's focus-on-hover behaviour interfering with GNOME Shell password dialogs, so start in the extension's focus-handling code and search the repository for the hover-focus setting. Reproducing requires Ubuntu 24.04 with GNOME and the Focus on Hover option enabled, then opening a Wi-Fi password prompt. Done would mean the password field accepts keyboard input while the hover option is on, but the fix likely needs GNOME Shell focus-stealing knowledge and the log is mostly unrelated noise.

Issue/Bug Description/Video Capture/Screenshots

If you turn on "Focus on Hover", the password dialog boxes on Ubuntu 24.04 Gnome stop working since the keyboard cannot focus on the pop-up and you are unable to type / enter your password. Example WI-FI password box, and even after suspend re-login password textbox.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Install Gnome Forge Extension.
  2. Turn on "Focus on Hover"
  3. Open any application and keep it on screen ? visible.
  4. Open any password dialog box such as WI-FI password.
  5. You are now unable to use enter password dialog boxes.
