Línea de trabajo

Start in sentient/skills/ to see how self-improving skills are stored today, then find where the vetting from #146 hooks in, since it must run before any install. The new hub client and lockfile go alongside that code, with the browse and preview screen in desktop/src/features/skills/ and the API notes in docs/API.md. Done means a user can browse, preview and install a skill into pending review with versions pinned, and tests cover install, the lockfile and vetting against fixture sources.

Descripción

area: desktop area: skills enhancement help wanted priority: P1 size: M

Hermes has a skills hub that pulls from several sources (its own catalog, GitHub, community indexes) with trust levels and a lockfile. Sentient has self-improving skills but no way to find and install skills others wrote.

Idea: a Skills hub screen that lists skills from a few configured sources (the AgentSkills format is shared with Hermes and OpenClaw), shows who made each one and what it asks for, and installs into pending review, never straight to active. Pin versions in a lockfile. Malicious skills on public marketplaces were a real 2026 problem, so vetting from #146 must run before install.

Where: sentient/skills/ (a hub client and lockfile), desktop/src/features/skills/, docs/API.md.

Done when: a user can browse, preview and install a skill from a source into review, versions are pinned, and tests cover install, lockfile and vetting with fixture sources.

Related: #146, #167.
