Línea de trabajo

Start with the slash command registry in desktop/src/features/chat/slash.tsx, then read sentient/evolution/service.py where skill drafts are created and sentient/files/extract.py for existing text extraction. Reference-file lazy loading belongs in sentient/skills/loader.py. Done means /learn on a URL, a file and a folder each yields a pending skill, and reference files are read only when the skill is invoked.

Descripción

area: skills enhancement help wanted priority: P1 size: M

A lot of know-how already exists as docs or written workflows. Hermes ships a /learn command for this.

Idea: A /learn <url|file|folder> command that turns docs or a written workflow into a skill. Large sources become knowledge skills whose reference files load on demand. The result lands in pending review like any other skill change.

Status in Sentient today: New.

Where: A slash command in desktop/src/features/chat/slash.tsx, drafting in sentient/evolution/service.py, text extraction via sentient/files/extract.py and the web plugin, and reference-file loading in sentient/skills/loader.py.

Done when:

  • /learn on a URL, a file and a folder each produce a pending skill
  • reference files load only when the skill is used
