Start with the sender parsing in sentient/proactivity/prefilter.py (sender_address), then read the IMAP and Gmail hooks in sentient/integrations/plugins/email_imap.py and gmail.py, plus sentient/integrations/feeds.py. The issue leaves open whether the trigger is a plus-address or a Gmail label, so confirm the design with maintainers before coding. Done means a forward from an allowed real address creates a task via sentient/tasks/service.py, a spoofed display name is ignored, and tests cover both cases.

Descripción
Email is where many tasks start. Gemini Spark takes tasks through a dedicated Gmail address, and Comet handles threads it is CC'd on. Hermes had to fix quoted display names that bypassed its sender allowlist, so sender checks must use the real address.
Idea: A Gmail label or plus-address (for example you+sentient@...), watched through IMAP push or Gmail. Forwarding or CC'ing a thread to it creates a task or a scheduling reply. Senders are checked against an allowlist that matches the real address, not the display name.
Status in Sentient today: New. IMAP push and Gmail change feeds exist.
