Línea de trabajo
Start by tracing the /chats command and how chats are associated with canonicalized workspace roots; the issue does not name specific files or tests. Identify how saved chats are stored and exposed, then assess where a way to re-attach a chat to another workspace would fit. Done means users can manage dangling chats and move chats between workspaces, including after a directory rename or project split.

It would be great to have tools to manage the structure of saved chats and workspaces. Presently, if I understand correctly, each chat is anchored to the canonicalized set of its workspace roots at the time of its creation. As far as I can see, there is no way to manipulate this structure through eca. For example, when I rename a directory, the chats that were anchored to it are now dangling, and I have no way to access them, except creating another directory of the original name and calling eca from there.
I can call /chats to list all chats of all workspaces. This also shows "dangling" chats attached to deleted directories. It would be great if this could be supplemented by some means to re-attach chats from one workspace to another. Renaming directories is one use case. Another use case is when projects get split into smaller separate projects. In that case, one might want to re-attach different existing chats that were attached to the same directory to different directories.
