Línea de trabajo

Start by locating the Windows dialog creation and positioning code in the SWT repository, then trace when the dialog becomes visible relative to its coordinates being set. The report gives no reliable reproduction steps, so look for a way to capture or reproduce the brief border flash before changing behavior. Done means dialogs never briefly show a border at the screen corner and remain at their configured location.

Descripción

Describe the bug
Sometimes when showing a dialog somewhere at the center of the (single) monitor its border flashes for a fraction of a second in the top-left screen corner. It happens a couple of times a day, unfortunately, not reliably reproducible.

To Reproduce
I don't know how to reliably reproduce it, but for me it easily happens within a few minutes.

Expected behavior
The border of a dialog must not be shown without content, and always at the set location.

Screenshots
This screenshot is taken from a screen recording with OBS Studio; hence so blurry.

Environment:

  1. Select the platform(s) on which the behavior is seen:
    • All OS
    • Windows
    • Linux
    • macOS

Workaround (or) Additional context
I've let AI work on this problem and it could not find any problem in our code (especially with respects to setting the coordinates before making the dialog visible).
