Start by reading the implementation and response model for rest/v1/rollouts/{rolloutId}/deploygroups/{groupId}/targets. Check how that response is tested and where the detailed update status is available. Done means the initial targets response includes the detailed status, rather than requiring one extra API request per target.

I'm trying to build a replacement for the rollout overview in hawkbit. I'm currently missing an easy way to list the detailed update status (the one that starts saying retrieved when the target starts processing the update). The endpoint rest/v1/rollouts/{rolloutId}/deploygroups/{groupId}/targets only lists the high-level update status which says "pending" until the update actually has completed.
To get the details status right now, I'll have to make one more api requests per target, which seems a bit wasteful when the information (that was on the old UI page) could just be included in the initial response.
