The request is for the TLE update from a local file to also remove satellites that are missing from that file. Start in the code that imports TLEs and manages the satellite database, which the payload does not name, so locate it by searching for TLE handling in the C sources. Done means a local-file update drops satellites absent from the file, and the change needs a maintainer decision on whether deletion should be automatic or opt-in. No comments or linked pull request exist, so confirm the intended behaviour before writing code.

A feature that would be useful is when updating TLEs from a local file to remove satellites from the GPredict database that are not in the local TLE file.
As GPredict comes with so many satellites this would make GPredict easier to use as one would not need to look through thousands of satellites when searching the database.
