Start with commit 7d8cddd, which the reporter says introduced the crash, and read what it changed in the antenna control window and rotor handling. Reproduce on Linux: engage a rotor, close the antenna control window, and watch for the crash. Done means the crash no longer happens with the commit's intended behaviour kept, and the maintainers agree on the fix since the thread has no decision yet.

I've been dealing with this problem for a while. On Gpredict 2.3, if I close the antenna control window while I have my rotor engaged, Gpredict crashes. After some experimentation, I found that reverting the changes made in commit 7d8cddd corrects this issue. Below are my system specs. Additionally, I have attached the contents of my .config/Gpredict folder.
OS: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS x86_64
