Línea de trabajo
Start by locating the Status screen and the title-bar battery glyph that already provides the runtime estimate. Check how the fuel gauge and charging state are exposed so the new figure can use the same source, and review the different power boards for v3 and rev4. Done means the Status screen shows a clearly labeled percentage or hours remaining, with defined behavior while connected to external power.

Descripción
The title-bar battery glyph is the only battery display. It estimates remaining runtime rather than charge, empties in coarse steps, and reads as a bolt while charging. A customer asked for a percentage in the menus (2026-09-22); the honest answer today is that there is none.
Add a more specific runtime estimate to the Status screen: a percentage, or hours remaining, from the same source the glyph uses. Keep the glyph as it is; this is a row on Status for someone who wants the number.
Things to settle in the design:
- Whether the figure is charge (from the fuel gauge) or estimated runtime (what the glyph shows). The glyph deliberately errs cautious; a number should say which it is.
- What to show while on external power, where the glyph shows "charging" and a runtime figure is meaningless.
- Hardware coverage: v3 and rev4 have different power boards.
From a customer reply: "I'll think about adding a more specific % runtime estimate to the status page."
