Línea de trabajo

Start by reading the Attempt reader logic introduced in #348 and ADR 0011 to understand how GitHub writes are attributed to a Worker. Trace how Worker kinds are defined and how the reader matches GitHub changes to an Attempt. Done when the reader uses the running Worker's declared GitHub identity and shows exe.dev Worker label changes, comments, and reviews.

Escrito por el modelo de indexación a partir del texto del issue.

Descripción

The Run reader recognises an Attempt's GitHub writes by the App's bot login (Installation.appSlug, #348). Attempts on exe.dev Workers write through the exe.dev GitHub integration (ADR 0011), whose actor is exe-dev-github-integration[bot], so their label changes, comments, and reviews are not shown.

Expected

Each Worker kind declares the GitHub identity its Attempts write as, and the reader matches changes against the identity of the Worker that ran the Attempt.

Decisions (2026-10-28)

  • Each worker kind provides its GitHub actor: the App slug for local, SSH, provisioned, and Cloudflare workers, and the bot login exe-dev-github-integration for exe.dev, fixed in the exe.dev adapter, not a new configuration key.
  • appChanges (packages/github/src/item-history.ts) takes the actor of the worker that ran the attempt; the run reader looks it up from the attempt's worker.
  • Another exe.dev VM writing in the same attempt window could be attributed to the attempt; say so in the reader's doc comment.
