On raspberrypi, mbedtls_psa_crypto_free is called when the VM shuts down. But if we wanted an SSL connection to live past the VM, this would be a problem. In ESP-IDF, mbedtls_psa_crypto stuff is managed by the SDK, not the user.
For hashlib.Hash objects, a finaliser could be used, and maybe the same for the SSL uses. mbedtls_psa_crypto_free() might never have to be called explicitly.
