Línea de trabajo

Start by reading the GPU monitoring and workload handoff entry points; the issue names xpu-smi and oneAPI Level Zero as possible sources for Intel telemetry, but does not identify relevant files or tests. Determine how Berth currently detects GPU memory release and starts the next workload, then assess what Intel support must cover. Done means Intel GPU telemetry and workload handoff are supported and verified on an Intel GPU.

Descripción

Hi,

I discovered Berth today and had an immediate "this is exactly what I need!" moment... followed by a slightly sad one when I spotted the NVIDIA requirement. :)

I'm running an Intel Arc Pro B70 32 GB on Linux. My main workloads are llama.cpp/llama-swap and ComfyUI, and I currently have to manage them carefully because they share the same GPU.

Berth's approach of leasing the GPU, draining the current workload, verifying that VRAM has actually been released, and only then starting the next workload is pretty much exactly what I've been looking for.

Would you consider supporting Intel GPUs through oneAPI Level Zero?

xpu-smi is already working well on my B70 for GPU and VRAM telemetry, so the Intel stack can expose the information needed for monitoring the card.

If you're interested in adding Intel support, I'd be happy to help test it on an Arc Pro B70 with llama.cpp, llama-swap and ComfyUI.

Thanks for making Berth!
