The behaviour comes from the NeoForge patch patches/net/minecraft/world/entity/EntityFluidInteraction.java.patch (lines 217-226), which changes isEyeInFluid; start there to see how fluid tags are checked. Work is already under way in linked PR #300, so review that first before starting. Done means a Fabric mod calling isEyeInFluid with its tagged fluid no longer crashes.

A NeoForge patch to isEyeInFluid causes any mod that calls isEyeInFluid on their fluids to crash.
Steps to reproduce
- Create and tag a fluid in a Fabric mod.
- Call
