Start with the attached sendspin-output.txt log from the device that cut out, and look for the reconnect and clock-sync messages around the drop. The report describes the symptom but not a reproduction, so you would first need a way to force a short network interruption. Done means the client re-establishes time sync after a reconnect without a manual pause and play; the maintainers will need to confirm the expected behaviour.

Descripción

sendspin-output.txt

I have two ESPHome Sendspin players, flashed with the latest ESPHome (2026.9.1). The devices are Louder-esp32-mini's connected to some simple speakers.

From time to time, one of these devices stop playing audio only to continue playing moments later. But most of the time, when the speaker starts again, it's out of sync with the other and more importantly, it stays out of sync! Only a manual pauze-play in Music Assistant fixes the sync issue. So it seems to me these devices don't sync their time after such a playback cut.

Both devices are next to eachother, and the device cutting out reports a wifi signal of -80dB, so not great. But still, it should be able to return to playing in sync, shouldn't it?

I added the logs of the player cutting out. Tell me if you need more.
