Start by locating the tax calculation screen and the entry point where explanatory content is rendered. Confirm where an appreciated-assets info box belongs, identify authoritative IRS documentation to link, and define disclaimers and wording that avoid assuming the donor would otherwise sell the assets. Done means the minimal info box, links, and disclaimers are present without implementing the optional calculator.

Currently GiveCalc helps users understand tax implications of cash donations. We could help donors optimize their giving by informing them about appreciated asset donations.
Minimal version:
- Add an info box explaining that donating appreciated assets held >1 year can be more tax-efficient than cash
- Link to IRS/other documentation about the rules
- Include appropriate disclaimers about consulting tax advisors
Potential future expansion:
- Optional calculator showing:
- Charitable deduction value (already modeled)
- Capital gains tax savings (would need cost basis input)
- Clear explanation of counterfactual assumptions
- Documentation page about different asset donation strategies
