Línea de trabajo

Start by reading paper-server/src/minecraft/java/net/minecraft/world/level/block/ObserverBlock.java around line 57, where the reporter points to the observer behavior. Reproduce with many repeaters causing lag and a NeighborUpdate, then check whether the observer stays powered after the lag ends. Done means the observer powers off correctly; the issue does not name a test to run.

Descripción

status: needs triage version: 26.3
Expected behavior

Hellooo,

i saw a video by TheJoCraft in which they analyze server lag on the CraftAttack server. I then looked into this myself using the Paper version and tested for lag caused by the NeighborUpdater. I found that the observer remains permanently powered even after the lag has ceased.

paper-server/src/minecraft/java/net/minecraft/world/level/block/ObserverBlock.java, Zeile 57

Observed/Actual behavior

It just happend while the server lags and wen the server does a NeighborUpdate.

Steps/models to reproduce

Alot of repeater causing lags.
