Reproduce the issue in a Markdown buffer using the reported $$ equation and plugin configuration, then trace the LaTeX rendering and conceal handling. Done means the rendered equation remains visible while the raw LaTeX block is hidden, except in insert mode or with anti-conceal enabled.

LaTeX blocks using $$ are not hidden when the equations are rendered. The rendered equations appear above the raw latex block.
