What would you like Filee to do?
  1. PDF splitting: Add an option to split PDFs into fixed page groups automatically. For example, split into chunks of 50 pages each until the end of the document.
    It would also be helpful to support splitting the document into equal fractional parts, such as splitting into halves or thirds automatically.
  2. Audio & video merging function.
  3. A quick rough video splitting feature using stream copy (no re‑encoding, split only at keyframes). Users can set a target duration, e.g. split the video every 1 minute automatically. This is convenient for later fine editing.
    For this rough split, it could also support automatic equal-part division, so users don’t need to calculate where the midpoint is manually.
    Thank you so much for your great work on Filee! I really appreciate this handy tool.
Why / when would you use it?
  1. For long recorded videos: The valid or highlight clips are scattered throughout the footage, or exciting segments cluster in certain sections. Automatic rough stream-copy splitting by fixed duration makes it much easier to sort and prepare clips for later fine-grained editing.
  2. PDF file upload size limits. Right now the workflow is cumbersome: I either split the PDF into single pages first and recombine them manually, or I have to create custom range presets like 1-50,51-100,... one by one. An automatic fixed-page splitting feature would streamline this process greatly.
