Found by the blind critic on #1377. The #1064 for-loop binder machinery writes an A __for_save=0 record to the trace tape. __for_save is an internal slot name the user never wrote, so tape consumers (eigsdap, --step, any history view) show a variable that doesn't exist in the program.
