Línea de trabajo

Start by working through the design questions in the issue: whether the index is curated or open, how signing and integrity work, and how upgrades and conflicts are handled. The issue names no files, tests, or entry points, so there is no implementation location to start from yet. Done means reaching decisions on those points and documenting the rationale before implementation begins.

Descripción

roadmap

An adapter is one JSON file, which makes it easy to contribute and impossible to distribute outside a release. A curated index would let someone publish an adapter we have not merged, and let an operator install it without editing files on the server.

What has to be decided before any code

  • Curated (we review every entry) or open (anyone publishes, we flag)? An adapter definition can point at any URL with the operator's credentials attached, so an open index is a supply-chain surface. The answer is probably curated, and the issue should say why.
  • Signing and integrity.
  • How an installed community adapter is upgraded, and what happens when it conflicts with a shipped one.

Design discussion. No implementation PRs yet.
