Línea de trabajo

Start by tracing how the Gradient Value node connects through a transform to the Fill node, then read the related node and gradient implementation to identify where an explicit start/end-point control belongs. The issue names no files or tests, so first locate the node-graph entry points and existing gradient tests; done means users can set the gradient endpoints directly and the resulting transform places them as requested.

Descripción

When the input for the fill node comes from a « Gradient Value » node in the graph, it is possible to configure start and end points by using a transform node:

node graph showing the setup of: gradient value -> transform -> fill paint

This allows you to set the start and end points by using a transform such that (0,0) and (1,0) map to the start and end of your gradient respectively in the layer coordinate space.

This is however not very intuitive or discoverable for most users familiar with SVG editors where you can configure the start and end points before the transform (although this obviously does not actually provide any additional functionality).

It could be nice to provide a node that allows users to explicitly set a transform such that the start and end points are where they would like.
