The payload names no source files. Start by finding where the existing search field at the top of the Android screen is built and wired, and where the bottom toolbar is defined. Done means a new bottom icon that focuses the search box and opens the keyboard. The issue has had no reply for about 183 days and asks for a UI placement choice, so confirm the design with maintainers before writing code.

Feature description
add a search icon at the bottom toolbar. clicking it would just prompt the search function (keyboard popup and cursor in search box)
Why do you want this feature?
clicking the top of the screen to search is cumbersome on tall phones :(
